very strange to see that family video was the only business to survive.

I don't really live in the sticks either.

 

They likely own the strip mall and don't have to pay rent. Very interesting company tbh.

 

I get the feeling that most comcast connections won't be good enough for game streaming anyways. You will need a decent download and upload.

Comcast and many other ISPs like to skimp on the upload and their ping times suck as well.

My parents recently upgraded to the fastest service in their area...15mbps (it's never been more than 12 when I've speed tested it).

Mine is 250 and sometimes I think I could use more...

 

When I did this hit, I was afraid it wasn't going to be worth it, $2 for almost 18 minutes with a crazy amount of directions and practice. Turns out the bonus was real, so that helps. Yeah, yeah, I know it isn't on the same scale as VRAPI bonuses, but I'll take it anyway.

I had a similar experience I went from 50 to 250 when I moved from AT&T to Comcast, it made life a ton easier and it also makes my wireless go at about 60 mbps which is a huge upgrade.

Crikey. Just bought the kid's first college textbook. $180 plus tax. No chance of a used book because all we bought was an envelope. That has an access code that we type in first day of class. For a digital book.

I hope Kiddo gets a lot of scholarships and grants because holy heck. One "not even a book book" is nearly $200.
