Has anyone ever gotten an email back about a rejection reversal only to have them ask you to figure out how to reverse it? What the heck?

I apologize for the rejection. I am exploring the way to revoke the rejection from our end (if possible). Meanwhile, I request you to find a way to revoke the rejection from your side.

That's fairly common for new requesters. There's a link you can send them that helps most of the time. If it doesn't suggest they contact mTurk customer support for manual reversal.

Managed 68 SM today. All but 6 or 7 were CNN. Got a couple BBC & ABC, and some rando Kardashian clone.

 

lol if we could reverse rejections from our side all of us would be unicorns

 

I always send https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechTurk/latest/RequesterUI/ReversingRejectedAssignment.html in my first email about reversing a rejection.

If they are completely clueless you can always throw them at CT by telling them to email hello@turkerview.com or another option would be to have them email mturk and they can do it for them (it is just slower)

 

I dunno what batch that is but you surely will get less next time now that you mentioned it.
