    Twitter drone is like "We fixed your issue" ..And I know that the tech that I dealt with has an internal ticket going on to actually get it fixed but I just checked my modem and it sure as hell looks like nothing changed lol

    Tsk, tsk. Comcast is usually a bunch of liars anyway. Last time I had to call them, I got passed around so many times, I got fed up and the last guy I spoke to must have sensed the "no bullshit" in my voice. He fixed it right quick.

    Never call comcast. The only two methods worth shit for contacting them are @comcastcares and https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/

    Avoid all other methods of contact with comcast as it isn't worth your time.

    Ever since I started turking again, I've encoutnered an issue where I'll accept a HIT and when I select the link to go to the survey, it's a plain white screen with a very small "not found" in the upper left-hand corner. Originally I assumed that it was just an issue with the HIT itself, even after encountering a second and a third, but it's at the point now where it's happening multiple times per day. Anyone have any insight on this?

    It is amazing though when I google I hear people having their connection break at ~50dBmV upstream but mine sits at 53-55 and only goes down when the weather is just right early in the morning.

    This is the difference between a stand alone modem and one of those shitty 2 in 1 units lol

    A lot of the time the url is just fucked and you need to fix it.

    I actually have no issues with Comcast ( I'd prefer another option but...) as far as service goes, maybe the Bay Area is just set up well..... but once a year I have to call and threaten their families and such over their $100 a month rate increase....after a couple rounds we usually settle on somewhere around $10 to $20
