    I wish my house was setup like the newer ones, where they have the usb and ethernet ports with the power and you literally plug your model into one of those and it lights up the whole house and you can get hard wired speeds as it's in your wall.

    That shit makes me jealous.

    Honestly for like 90% of people a modern laptop is perfectly fine docked and you can even dock it to a high powered GPU.

    This is about what I'm at usually. Sometimes it drops to 27-29ish but it's fairly rare.... I'm also in the middle of nowhere.

    Yeah like 5ghz AC wifi is close enough to wired for MOST people.

    also in highly populated areas like NYC wifi is much worse.

    Wired on the other hand will always be stable.

    Yeah, we don't do wireless unless we just don't give a fuck about what we're doing. Both our PCs are wired and we get like 90mbps so :dunno:

    Even with new hardware I swapped from wireless to wired. Sure it worked 95% of the time fine but it always seemed to go unreliable when it was highly inconvenient. I would rather a stable connection.
