I think AP is much more safe from random fuckery than mturk. I assume AP being a payments processor means it's subject to some sort of federal laws.

I think I've heard of only one person whose mturk account was suspended being able to access their money. The majority of the time Amazon keeps your money.

I go by days not amounts. Every day, every other day, or every 3 days. We used to be able to withdraw multiple times a day before they limited to once a day. Unless your bank penalizes you for multiple EFTs, there's no harm in withdrawing every day or every other day. Problems are rare, but they do happen every once in a while.

 

This is letting me do more than 10. I just accepted number 11 and I don't see in the instructions to only do 10 so I'll see how many I can do.

 

I used to transfer monthly... lol From now on I will do daily!

PayPal is a payment processor as well and they suspend seller accounts all the time. Since they aren't considered a bank they don't have to follow as many regulations on access to funds.

 

It flies in the face of all common sense, but I like running it up to 1-2K before I transfer. I've done it that way from the beginning. I'll get burned eventually...but

This made me laugh out loud. You mean like Paypal? They almost entirely police themselves which is why so many have had problems with Paypal. When they make messed up decisions, they review their own determinations. They aren't a bank, federal oversight is minimal. AP seems to do better in practice than them not screwing people over and out of their money in general, but seemingly worse in customer service response times.
