Any updates on that reject from yesterday? Mine still is rejected.

 

It'll probably happen one day where I come up with something worth paying for.. But putting something currently free behind a paywall seems scummy as hell. Plus, I like everyone having access to live update/thread modes.

Live update gives folks here parity with HitNotifier. Why should I make anyone pay a forum for live update when they could just go to HN and get it for free? Nicely formatted & all. I don't wanna be that guy haha

Personally I'm fine with donations just being donations, even if that means not much comes in from it. If/when I come up with something 'premium' I'll probably grandfather in previous donators, but I hope its never something that should just be a core forum function. I kind of dislike the "donation" for features model, its so disingenuous. That's not a donation, its a product sale LOL.

This makes a ton of sense.. will definitely look into it. Re: the face - I added a hyphen to it because it was breaking links at some point :s

I wonder if she tried to contact Amazon to do it on their end instead of that weird csv file way? I'll follow up later today if nothing has changed.

I was out of commission for a while and yesterday was my first time back to turking. I spent all day in the mTurkGrind thread waiting for it to pick up again before I read back and saw the link. It's nice to be around people again.

 

Ok so TM and PandaCrazy...who prefers which...right now I use TM....was thinking maybe I will try PandaCrazy at home and see which I prefer...any opinions, thoughts or suggestions?

 

I only use PC for large batches like Zs (and even then, I sometimes prefer TM). I use TM for everything else. Others may have better strategies.

I'm a recent PC convert. I still have TM but I'm using it less and less. I like it because I when I see someone add a survey that comes up no hits left I can put a 'once' on Panda and if it opens another spot or gets returned it'll grab it. I leave those running for the day and delete any of the extras that are left when I'm done for the day so it doesn't get too full. And it's also great for batch jobs when you can catch them.

TBH, with all the things you've done right out of the gate... I've pondered that this whole thing was an elaborate plan you've been working on for some time and it was actually you that bought MTG. You just thought it'd be easier to start over then to revamp it.
