I tried to do the Flor batch and got the missing qual notification even though I'm in the US.

 

You need to apply compression bandages on it. Wrap it up in bandages (tight but comfortable) all day everyday, adjusting as they get looser. The good thing is it's not black and blue. My last sprain was pretty bad. Ice it three times a day, do not walk on it or put your foot on the ground (since it can make the swelling worse) You can walk but try to minimize that. Prop a chair up in front of you with a pillow on top, your foot needs to be higher than you on a chair for it to be elevated enough. In bed rest your foot on a pillow (again your foot needs to be higher than you on the bed to reduce blood flow in the area. Icing should be at least 30 minutes, three times daily. Icing will help the swelling go down which will reduce pain, Icing decreases blood flow. Do NOT heat the area, it will make the swelling worse since it increases blood flow. Alternating Ibuprofen or paracetamol will help with swelling and pain management if you can take NSAIDs.

I hope you feel better! I really sympathise. It took a month for my last sprain to stop hurting and I was black and blue all over. It was so bad I thought I broke something.
