04/06 - Thirsty Thursday!

I had a super fun day today. Yesterday, my son decided to attempt to climb on a cabinet that I had just set my laptop down on...I stopped him pretty quick, but not before he started to tip it over, and since my laptop was sitting on top of the xbox, it just slid right off and bounced off his head to the floor. (he's fine, he has a hard head.) My laptop, however, gave me this lovely blue screen today with a kernel data error. I used google and typed in some codes that I didn't understand, and hours later, I had a laptop with a black screen and a recycle bin and nothing else. Luckily, I was able to refresh and somehow, I have programs on my computer once again.

 

Dunno but one of the lurkers with no posts is a yandere so we better watch the shadows.

@ChrisTurk Did you turn the proxy server back on? (perhaps caching is off as well?) The forums seem to be loading slower then before.. I know that you messed with something a few hours ago.

(It is the most noticeable on a refresh with a page that has a lot of gifs or when you post a gif)

 

It only took about three or four minutes. Wasn't too horrible, actually. But yes, an extremely odd amount.

hmmm just got a "Your Mechanical Turk account is under review" message when trying to view a hit. Has anyone run into this?

I have done 241k hits with 99.9% accuracy.

 

Yeah because @ChrisTurk has been trying to do a non-bandaid fix on the forums for media embedding lol.

The bandaid fix that worked well unless someone posted something from a website without SSL was to turn the proxy off..


Now it still shouldn't do this with the proxy on but dunno hopefully he can figure out what the real issue is.. but meh now is a good time to fuck with it seeing how slow mturk is right now hah
