    I hate that I try to hit like or lol on people's posts and my fat little fingers hit 5/5 pay or useful first. I apologize if I'm spamming anyone's alerts.

    From @ChrisTurk many months ago, a handy way to use google for better searching of forums. In this case use turkerhub instead of grind.

    =========================================================================================================

    I'm just going to use the hide tags for emphasis, not really trying to keep it a secret, but if you go to google.com and in the search bar type:

    site:mturkgrind.com productrnr

    and hit enter it will bring up the most relevant result(s) Google has for the word "productrnr" limited ONLY to this forum. You can do subforums on here as well or plug in an entirely different site altogether. Generally Google caches this forum at least every day (idk the time, sorry) but usually yesterday's daily HITs thread shows up in the results. Personally I find Google search to be a million times more effective than VB's built in search function (..slightly less cumbersome, at least). It's probably most helpful for when people talk in slang/code. Google is really good at bringing up old ass results that are usually the origin post for the slang. So for instance

    [IMG]

    - I saw someone post that emoji a few times on the forums and plugged it into Google with that search format and it brought me back some results that (AFAIK) explained the origin (HIT/Requester) of the term. Totally useless as I can't do the HIT, but at least my curiosity was satiated. Its also incredibly useful if you want to find a panda. So you can use site:mturkgrind.com zoltar panda and it'll bring up a bunch of results - most of which have the panda for Zoltar's. Even better, you can do this:

    site:mturkgrind.com "zoltar panda"

    The quotes tell Google you only want results that have those words in that exact order. That will return results on this forum that STRICTLY have those two words right next to each other (capitalization doesn't matter, IIRC). For like 99% of the stuff you see people asking for PandAs for if you use that search you'd get it a million times faster than waiting for someone to see your message, be motivated to want to help, and then post it, AND THEN have you refresh the page to see the answer.

    I had a friend that was regularly on Ambien and he would do all kinds of weird shit in his sleep. He made cupcakes from scratch one night. Woke up the next morning and they were on the counter and he had no clue. He's also woken up outside before with no recollection of how he got there.

    My favorite thing is to read stories on Reddit about people who took too much Xanax and blacked out similarly. Some dude apparently traveled to South America while on a Xanax bender and was asking for help trying to get back.
