oooooh I guess I did get it! wohoo I thought they were suppose to send me an email or some shit.

 

I am! Do most of my hiking in Great Smoky Mountains. My avi is at the base of Rainbow Falls on the trail to Mt. LeConte. Haven't been to Colorado but it looks beautiful - enjoy! I've been to Yosemite several times when visiting my son who lives in California. One of my most memorable hikes was the Mist Trail up to Vernal and Nevada Falls, in June 2010 when the falls were flowing like crazy. I too would love to do a road trip and visit a bunch of the Western U.S. National Parks... Glacier and Grand Teton in particular, and Yellowstone. Attended a business conference in Salt Lake City several years ago and wish I had taken a few extra days then to visit Yellowstone. And Alaska is on my bucket list of places to go!

I believe it usually let's so you grab it again, but you're still only supposed to do one of each kind.

 

I just emailed them apologizing that I didn't get in on time and that I wasn't able to inform them ahead of time. And that I hoped I could still work on future sessions with them. They replied very quickly saying that I would still be invited to future sessions, so phew.

 

I just went to GSMNP in February for the first time! Was at a concert in Asheville and couldn't resist heading over to TN (stayed the night in Gatlinburg, which was quite beautiful, and the back-roads of TN were absolutely astounding to drive through). I'll probably be stopping there if all goes well on this trip--will have to look up the trail you're talking about! Utah is my favorite of the Western states as far as the landscape goes--there's deserts and mountains and crazy rock formations all together in one awesome state! Haven't been to Yosemite, Yellowstone, or Glacier since I was a kid, and I really want to add Grand Teton onto my list as well. Alaska is a big dream for me. I love to travel so much--part of the reason why I turk is so I have the flexibility to pick up and go wherever I please without having to let a boss or anyone else approve it.
