    No offense, but it's not always easy to get reductions and discounts. The way it is with my son's issues, they basically told me pay in full or he can't have a next appointment. And we don't qualify for assistance because I make $38k/year. Which is funny, because every paycheck is almost halved by taxes and medical insurance (I have the family plan through work for me, my husband and my son) so I've turned to turking just to be able to pay bills on time. On top of that luxurious insurance, we have a yearly $3k deductible which HAS to be met before they pay anything. And my son's appointments are $120 a piece, his medication is $300/month and if he has an emergency issue, when they see him on that basis, it's $360 for that kind of appointment. So now I have $20k in credit card debt. But hey, Obamacare, right?

    My only comment to that is don't put the blame on Obama for how greedy and effed up the medical industry is. They were like that before he got in office.

    I'm on 2 different IRC servers for anime related things.. Not being productive is part of my life style.

    I did rage release a fansub for a show once though..... so clearly you just need to annoy me enough to fix the issue and then I'll be productive af.

    Nah, I know. I just get irritated sometimes by people saying "oh well, all these Americans have healthcare now and are getting the help they need". Like, maybe some are, but there are a lot of people that are still struggling to just make ends meet. There's still a lot of progress that could be made.

    I will agree with that 100%, also could go onto a tangent of how people see someone who can walk and has all their limbs and is not blind and immediately thinks they are milking the system and aren't "disabled".... but we'll just stop before I REALLY earn that hijacker badge and get banned...
