    also the stadium is right over the river from Kentucky. I've parked multiple times there and then walked over to Ohio.

    I think your problem is less that he wants to go to a baseball game and more that the game he wants to go see has the reds in it.

    And ethics are a pretty big deal in social science studies. Milgram could NOT do what he did in today's climate. If we want to go waaaaaaayyyyyy back to Alienist days and how women's issues were studied and treated...yeah, not really allowed today (I'll let y'all who are interested do a search on that topic...)

    Some studies can be replicated, just depends on study design. And good research design should allow for replication if you want to be taken seriously. As practice and as grad students we would use an unsuspecting undergrad population to see if we could replicate some big name studies. That was fun.

    Because humans are so unpredictable, that's not always easy to do. You need several huge sample sizes as you said.

    Enter...mturk. And the reason we often fill out surveys containing information we've seen before. And answer the same question four different ways (wait, maybe that's validity ...been a while since I've read my research design handbook, lol...)
