nothing.

Cons:
There were no attention checks. there were photos moving at a very fast pace, and they expect you to type the word of what the picture is, inside of the box in a matter of 5-6 seconds. HOWEVER, the box is pre-filled with "enter text here" which you have to copy and backspace out the text and then write whatever is in the photo. thus, giving you 0% time to actually write the word in the box. theref... I did that 1 too. mine expired before I was done. I emailed the requester with the completion code this morning. they better pay me!!!

 

Well, to be fair, at one point we were testing out the word substitution system so we know what words will automatically become Tracy Safe and which words we need to n s f ....w for you or edit ourselves!

this is way different than the one I did. are you by chance confusing it with a different HIT?

 

That one was overly sneaky with it's wording about the ACs. So annoying.

yeah mine was nothing like he describes either

 

mine was just pages of adjectives that you can use to describe a digital assistant.

and then the directions at the top of every page had a confusing thing that took me a few times to figure out what they were asking of me. - but was very important

 

Maybe, but very few that virtue signal their ethics quite as strongly as academics in the social sciences.

I also don't know of many professions that let you attain the status of "unfireable"

I actually fully agree with you though, and I've seen this discussed among academics a lot, MTurk opens the door to some very stupid PhDs to do very stupid things and advance their career on it.

I swear to goodness some weeks that rolls backwards. My dashboard shows 1161 done total (over 7 weeks) so I feel like that should be higher after four plus years but nope...I'm still under 50K.
