People still play? How long ago was this? I used to play it before battle.net was a thing - for a while I was ranked 1 on the IGL ladder. I was only good at the garden of war and plains of snow map though

I think I'm spending more on an actual birthday party than I am on gifts for my child. Why is this crap so expensive.

 

Probably around seven years ago, There weren't very many people playing but the people who did were all about it.

 

Any of you guys old enough that you had to use a damn phone cradle to go online, My computer teacher always had one on display.

 

I setup a BBS a few years back for some friends and I so we could play L.O.R.D

 

It wasn't the only thing I did but when those were due I was there on weekends...until Marketing made a $1 million mistake with them. Wasn't my fault but someone had to take the fall and they blamed me. Got laid off in the first round of layoffs they had.

Lol even though I'm a console wizard now I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do ANYTHING on DOS or any text based system at the time. Like how do I know which drive I'm in? All I'm seeing is a black screen. Which file was where again? There's a text adventure on here I know it, I've played it, but I don't remember the name or the file location so its gone forever to the ether
