Those percys lasted a long time.

 

Probably because of how ambiguous the "answers" were sometimes. I didn't want to select anything more than a few words.

And then there were the few that had no answer at all...

 

Yeah, i noticed the bad ones kept coming back around.

 

Has anyone did these Noah Robbins?

If so, when does the HIT end? Is it time based or does the partner have to draw the image?

 

Do people actually watch these hours long videos of other people playing video games?

I was highly skeptical of the whole thing at first but if you watch say game grumps it's more of a mystery science theater thing then a watch someone complete levels thing.

I have asked that same question. I guess I just don't get it.

I used to be with "it", then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary.

Honestly its' not much different than watching sports. I got into Age of Empires 2 a lot and started watching pro's play and I have to say, it's a very interesting(and intellectual) game. There's a lot of math that's involved and strategy and not just 'reflexes' like a lot of people assume

For example, when I first started I would often destroy an opponents house using one of my villagers, until I realized the math pointed towards not destroying the house but instead putting the villager to work. Basically, an opponents a house costs 40 wood and in the time it takes for me to destroy the house, my villager could have gathered probably close to 100 wood. So by me destroying the house, all else being equal, my opponent is better off from the exchange(they would have benefited by me taking a villager of lumber and attacking his house)

That's just a small example. There's a lot of thought and strategy in gaming, lots of use of math, etc

 

I can understand watching pros that makes sense, it's more all these random people...but hey I'm making money off them so I'm not complaining just curious lol

 

Yeah I'm actually surprised people do that -- Unless your family with the guy I guess. Watching a random person play a game doesn't seem very interesting

My husband plays Starcraft and we watch their tournaments everytime they're on. I watch a lot of random other video games that I'd otherwise be playing but cant. We have a newborn, WAY easier to watch than to play right now.
