Recently upgraded my phone. I lease them so I can just pay monthly and upgrade whenever I feel like it. Also, I pay for my mom's phone so she can have the latest stuff and she uses less than 1GB of data, so it's nothing. We had to mail in the old phones last month and now I get my bill and there's a $400 charge for purchasing the old phones instead of trading them in.

Customer service guy told me the phones were lost in transit, so I'm on the hook for them. I actually started laughing at him. They want me to pay them and then get reimbursed from UPS. I told the guy I'm not paying that because I have no guarantee that UPS will pay the amount I'm being charged. He then told that the issue actually appears to already be closed on their end, which means they already had some loss prevention person file a claim with UPS to get that money. The box to send them back came with the box the new phones were delivered in, so it was their shit. It's amazing how fucking shady these people can be.
