    why is there a surplus room? I was in it for 15 minutes despite it saying 0. approx 3 to read instructions. i was really keen on playing. the pay's nice but i'd rather have been a player than surplus.

    Giving up on the Abdullah HIT.... Must have been more quals given than spots available? I grabbed it four times and got the 'games are full' message each time. Ah well..

    There is a surplus room (the game requires 40 players, we post 45 HITs, in case some people disconnect or spend too much time in the instructions). This has happened many times in the past. There are 5 surplus (worst case) and we will pay and allow you to participate in the next runs (this doesn't effect your participation)

    Why don't you just launch the HIT a few mins. sooner? That would give people plenty of time to read directions.

    can you send email to people with the qual next week who might miss it in the forum? thanks for the explanation. maybe i'll get lucky and be able to get the HIT on repost lol

    and building on what @Hardwired said you really might consider posting 10 minutes before, with a timer counting down. that's more than sufficient for the instructions and assures everyone's there and would let people know before joining if there was a game for them to join.
