In case that was a huge mistake on my part, I'll post here so at least you'll be able to learn from my failures This is what that part of my Dashboard looks like now: One good thing: they added a 3-day option, which I chose. You can still choose to disburse to your Account or your Gift Card, but not when anymore (i.e. you can't manually trigger a transfer). I chose 3-day today (the 17th) and they said then my next transfer will be on 20th, but then my Dashboard says the 21st... whatever, I'm not sweating that one day difference. I chose Gift Card, and I will let you know how that goes on the 21st!
More info: This is what the Earnings window looks like now, which is where you go when you click "View Transfer History" from your Dashboard... Same old history when you scroll down. I like this setup, it's intuitive enough to let you know what's going on. And you can click a link to change any setting you don't like.
Ok I checked at 9am Eastern time this morning (the 21st) and it's all done already! I had about $30 transferred out of mTurk automagically, and it is already available in my Amazon account as Gift Card balance. There is still some weirdness with the dates... mTurk (https://worker.mturk.com/earnings) says it transferred on the 21st, but Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gc/balance/&tag=thtv02-20) says it received on the 20th. idc, but fyi Anyway, that's pretty dope if the transfers start at like 12:01am, and are completed by the time I wake up in the morning! And now mTurk says my next transfer is scheduled for the 23rd (Monday). I was planning to fiddle with the settings, like see how changing from Gift Card to ACH Deposit (and/or changing from 3 to 7 days, and vice versa) affects the new setup. But b/c Christmas I'm going to leave it unchanged now & see how this Monday transfer works. Once I get that transfer, I shall start fiddling and post anything I learn that may be helpful.
