    I forgot I already took it in the morning so I tried to collect the HIT
    MIT Social Cognition Lab - Emotion Recognition (12 trials)
    and I got this message:

    Is this a "hard block", one of those that could create troubles for our accounts if we get too many? I think I did a honest/good job for them so I guess they only wanted to prevent me from taking that survey again.. :dunno: Did I misunderstand that message?

    Which sergeys are the ones everyones crazy for? ive seen a couple but nothing that stuck out as great.
    I imagine the racy one would be fast with a script. Then theres the one with way too many videos. category.

    That's a block. You could try sending a polite message to the requester explaining the potential negative effects that a block can have on workers' accounts and asking them to use quals to prevent retakes instead.

    There's no hard or soft block, a block is a block. There are certain conditions that make it so you may receive an email or not (paging @ChrisTurk ). Requesters do this sometimes instead of a qual to prevent you from taking a survey again. I wouldn't worry about the integrity of the account. It might not hurt to message them to let them know how damaging blocking can be and maybe suggest for them to use a qual to prevent retakes instead.
