    ...... seriously... I walk out to the kitchen and I see a pot on the stove that my brother clearly was making something with tomato sauce... and I can clearly tell that he burnt the shit out of it...

    ... this is why I don't eat most of the shit that he cooks lol..

    He is at his worst when he tries to do what I do for most of my cooking and improv cook.

    But shit like stirring and not having the heat too high won't be in the instructions anyways. It just is basic cooking shit....

    Did you ever have a teacher back in elementary school that would send kids to the 1st grade class rooms or w/e? Well he needs that but for cooking.

    Its just kind of funny to me. Ive always been around my mom and she cooks all the time so i just absorbed it. I never even consciously tried to learncooking stuff. its like... after youv been playing a game for 5 years you can hardly relate to the noob that doesnt know the basics. something like that

    Please tell me his lady genuinely loves his cooking.

    Like I want her to have some disease that prevents her from enjoying food unless it's completely ruined, and that's how they got together - she tasted his cooking and was the first to ever compliment it and ask for seconds. So his eyes lit up, he grabbed her hand and whispered, "Would you like some dessert? I've got brownies that have been in the oven for sixty-five minutes that are just about ready."

    And she said yes.

    (nobody steal my fanfiction, I worked hard on it)

    I self taught myself nearly everything that I know during the year that I was living basically alone in my apartment. The internet has some great guides that you can follow until you are comfortable going freestyle.

    She does love his cooking... and her cooking is actually worse then his (and likely is causing his to get worse) She likes the taste of burnt and bland food.

    He actually has made some decent dishes BEFORE he met her.. but now his food his even more likely to be burnt or have an obvious step fucked up.
