    And here we sit at my company offering a full time job at higher than minimum wage (starts several bucks above min, and will go up for good performance), some benefits (not medical, wish we could but as a small business it's not even remotely affordable, we've tried) like a 401k and many paid holidays, and we cannot find a reliable worker.

    Well, I'm a full-time turker/stay at home parent so I don't really have an excuse so that works out well for us. My wife loves to cook but it's rare I let her come home from work and cook... It makes me feel lazy and I don't like it. The only time I really let her it is if I'm REALLY sick.
