I'll throw a couple tablespoons of butter in the pot, and saute a handful of diced onions and a clove or two of garlic for a couple minutes. Then dump in the rice (washed and drained), saute that for about 5 minutes, then a can of chicken stock and a little bit more water. Bring to boil, cover w/ heat on low for 12 minutes, then rest with heat off and a clean towel between pot and lid until the rest of the food is ready.
