When my dog was a puppy, he had his own boot. My cousin left an old pair of boots in his room and we were like fuck it. He used to just drag it around instead of chew on it, though he has ruined a couple of my shoes by chewing.

 

Luckily Ramesis doens't wanna chew on shoes... but he will destroy errything he opts to chew. POWER CHEWER FOR THE WIN.

 

I used to think my puppy was bad about chewing. Then @DarkChild told me about his monster.

I had a cat who ate my shoes. Only the really expensive ones of genuine leather, he ignored the cheap ones. This was back in the day when I was still pretty poor and good quality shoes were a splurge for me. But that darn cat would just chew away on them like a dog.

That was my soul mate animal, my sweet Gummy who I found abandoned when he was still so little he couldn't walk and the vet said he would die as he was too young to survive without his mama. So I became his mama and he lived 13 years. Miss my little dude. I would totally let him chew on my shoes if he was still here. I'd buy him 5 pair of high quality shoes to gnaw on!
