LOL no I got it, I just like to point out how self checkouts are lame.

 

I don't have a choice, my wife can't walk from achillies surgery, I have to suck it up and care for the family.

 

No doubt. Nobody wants snot and snarvel around or on them.

 

Ugh the self checkouts by me are always clogged up with people who either have no clue how to use them or they did a month's worth of shopping and are going to take 10x as long as a real cashier would to check out.

 

I see grammar is not taught in Law Enforcement schooling

Those things are a scam they are having customers do the job an employee should do so they don't have to hire people......they cost people jobs and I don't go shopping to work.

 

I'd prefer not to have to go anywhere, I would but I can't exactly say..hey I know you can't walk and your achillies is held to your foot with screws but damn it you go to the store. Cause well it would be harder for her than me.

 

I hope I never get to the point where I get scammed by a self-checkout.

I just don't like supporting the loss of jobs so I can do a job for free for them...if they wanna give me a discount for doing it then that's different.

 

It IS amazing how many people try to use self check out (who have had their own stuff checked out for YEARS) who don't understand how the damn the works. Is it REALLY THAT HARD?!?!?

You aren't supporting a loss of jobs. You are supporting different jobs such as IT and computer work and maintenance. Also you are supporting the current workers by alleviating people that may walk out due to even longer lines. Sales = jobs. Tech is something you can't stop. But tech also creates work.

I agree with you for the most part I really do, I'm not anti-tech at all, I just don't support that aspect because I feel like if you want me to do the job then make it worth my while and also...we are always going to have unskilled people in the workforce if we take away these jobs...I mean unless we do go to UBI then that's different.
