If anyone else here is in the midwest the vast majority of jobs and people are looking at it as a total joke and like there is no issue and everything is just an overreaction.

Ah, good, keep the place open where you're guaranteed the person touching your face has probably been breathing in fumes from everyone else in the general public at insanely close proximity with zero healthcare training or cleanliness standards.

A lot of academics seem very interested in the differences in those type of scenarios right now though. It isn't data they could ever hope to get under normal circumstances. Hey now, the hair salons I've been to were all clean. I'm just wondering who the fuck's priority is getting their hair done during an international pandemic.

 

I work at a very popular grocery store, and we obviously can't work from home. We're a private, for profit, small chain, so we can't keep up with the panic buying everyone is doing. Even Walmart and Target are suffering and they have stores everywhere with giant supply chains.

A lot of my coworkers are petitioning to close us down (with pay), and threatening to sue if they get sick, because honestly, we barely have had time to clean or disinfect anything with how slammed we've been. Put that along with the fact we're dealing with 1000's of customers a day, and we have a potential to be super spreaders.

As someone who's immunocompromised, it's scary as fuck trying to decide between staying at home and preserving my health while losing income, or going to work and risk getting potentially killed by COVID (but be able to pay bills).

 

Older southern white women. Especially on Wednesday and Saturday.

Gotta have it coiffed for church.

 

I actually got a haircut last week precisely because shit was going down hill lol. No one wants a mop head to go along w/ the mud butt.
