    Just got the call my grandma passed, after a year of fighting cancer in her liver and galbladder. :(

    I got that call a few years ago. it's tough to really think about much, but there is a silver lining. she no longer has to fight the cancer. she no longer has to be subjected to the chemo. and the chemo itself is really rough, not only physically draining, but affects them on a whole mental level too. they are no longer suffering, fighting, and are finally able to rest. it's difficult to adjust to, but remember that she's done her fight, and she doesn't have to hurt anymore.
