Update: There were no more snacks than there was yesterday about this time when I last checked.

 

Gmail has always annoyed me to no end, and it's still sucky.

Goes back to same Yahoo mail box I've had for over 20 years.

Just got back from Home Depot. Went today thinking there might be less people than tomorrow. I was totally wrong. Packed and almost no one had masks on (I did).

I had to go as my kitchen faucet broke and we kinda need that...and the contractor said he can come out this upcoming week and install a new one for me. I did go ahead and visit the garden department and get myself some snapdragons for the yard since i was there for the essential faucet.

Most people were not there for essentials unless landscaping or building a new fence is essential! (fence might be should it have fallen over).

Just wish they had put on masks!

I mean, to be fair, a lot of people don't know what to do with themselves now that they've been told to stay home and also don't have to go in to work. Keeping yourself busy is essential, but so is practicing proper social distancing. Some grocery stores have implemented having a limited # of customers in at one time, Home Depot should do that as well.

 

Oh, I'm one of those who stocked up on things to do when this first started and before everything closed down because I knew I'd go crazy. So I kinda get it. But come on. Wear a mask. Send only one person in instead of two, there are ways to do this smart.

Home depot also had crap crowding the aisles. There was zero way to keep six feet away from anyone if you're going the opposite direction. So much of that shit could have not been in the aisles.

Yeah anyone in public is supposed to be wearing a mask, your mask is to protect others and their masks are to protect you.

 

Sounds like they need to implement the one-way aisles like so many grocery stores have done.

(And I don't have any masks to wear in public. But I also haven't gone out in about three weeks and don't plan to either, so I guess I'm good.)

 

Welp, I made a dollar. Time to go finish getting prepared for 60-80 mph winds tomorrow by filling the bath tubs and jugs with water because our well doesn't work without power. Our basement will probably flood and we're surrounded by trees so I'm pretty nervous.
