It is entirely possible I have done this. I was raised in a time where fathers were...um...a bit more helpless? I know they aren't now, but I think I might knee jerk into a wee bit of patronizing.

My kid walked out of his room today and I could tell something was up.

I asked him if he was bored. He said yep, a little.

I told him it was because I made him leave the house yesterday and see people (from afar) as we delivered food. That triggered the 30% of him that is an extrovert. He thanked me for that and said he was fine living in his 70% zone and to not make him leave again, lol.

I also offered to go buy a puzzle and we could work on that together and he looked a little horrified at that. Then promptly bought a million video games.
