    I've been operating under the assumption that they want to have their screenshots sorted by how it looks to their robot site scrapers. The only time I visit a link is if there's one of those promotional pop-ups that get in the way of the info I need. A white screenshot is always page not found for me. Also, keep in mind that there's some amount of time gap between the site being screenshotted and when they post the HIT. The site may have been unavailable at the time that it was scraped, so that's how I answer it.

    don't turk while you're drunk; you might get a TUI (turking while under the influence)

    *seriously, on a forum where requesters may also visit, it looks bad when members say they do the hits while under the influence. I'm confident that you will inform us that you have merely had a small drink to loosen up and are otherwise acting like your regular self.
