I do actually like BABYMETAL... so I'm not sure if that counts? And it pretty much undo's 100% the easy listening Sunday Music I just posted. I think my music mix is a bit all over the map lol...

 

For the record the below is actually safe for work - I only put it up like that because of strobe lights and also not everyone can do kpop metal

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed an influx of bots on FB? I can post the most mudane comment on an article and can always expect to get a (generally) rude or over the top reply from a new account managed by some Nigerian dude. I find it disturbing. I honestly think they're learning from other commenters. I had stopped posting publicly for a while because I was getting a massive amount of replies like f*ck you c*nt from real people for just saying something like "I don't like anchovies" on a pizza video. Now it seems the real desperados have competition from bots on who can be the most attention seeking lol.

Hi Penelope - Holy crap! That's awful!!!

First of all.... I love your new avatar! I can't tell what bird that is but it looks like a type of wren?

Second....I haven't noticed the facebook bots because I've been trying like heck to not ever go on facebook. It's hard because it's the ONLY way some of my family know how to "be in touch" but I refuse to put it on my phone or tablets and just ran into a brick wall (that folks on here tried to help with) of doing facebook Kid Messanger - which is an insanely obnoxious thing and I just won't download all the apps. After trying to trouble-shoot it for two days I eventually told the nieces and nephews - gchat. Plz. And at least three of them have figured that out so I've been able to circumvent and limit facebook for the most part.

Every once in awhile I have to get on because I get tagged in things by family like "virtual baby shower" etc... but so far, I haven't gotten anything close to the level you are experiencing.

Is your account public or set to private or friends/family? I have a ton of restrictions on mine because I've had it spammed before. But not, knock on wood, recently.

What you are experiencing is massively disturbing and sounds like these bots are getting through somehow in a really intrusive way.

@Masterbah told me about a facebook app called Caprine that I installed (while trying to navigate the Kids Messenger) that might help you? I'm not sure? It seems to filter things quite a lot better overall... at least for me, and for the limiting to PC usage.
