Yeah, I had it installed, but it never did anything for me. I'll try it again and see how it works.

 

Short cable life. It just is an awful connector... while USB C is awesome.

I think I've broken like two cords ever and those were just b/c I accidentally squished them under the couch

 

The cords are normally fine. It is the header that starts to go on them. If you have ever had a cable that you had to angle a certain way for it to charge that is why.

Also the type C connector can also deliver 100w of power but that is more of a thing that is useful for laptops and not phones.
