Listen, Bearnie rage popped off a couple of my keycaps (probably to send a message to me lol) and it was dying and I wanted something with tactile switchessssss! I also really wanted a numpad again, tbh. But, I was determined to wait until my apple one kicked the bucket, cause I don't buy things for myself until I absolutely have to. I would have used it for another year or five if several people didn't lovingly lecture me on finally getting a new one.

Holy shit, that keyboard has seen some shit for sure.

 

Where's @ChrisTurk when I want to make this niche reference?! I bought it my freshman year, from the little apple store on campus next to the harcombe dining hall...which doesn't exist anymore because things change, ewwww. That keyboard outlived everything else around it and frankly, I was surprised and impressed it continued to sync with everything. They practically had an intervention for me because I was stubbornly refusing to replace it for at least a couple years now

 

I'm genuinely proud of that keyboard. Give it a gentle rub for me.
