06/13 - Stuffy Saturday

ugg my roast has been in the crock pot for over 6 hours went downstairs to make some sides thinking it was done... it's still raw. I always forget my crock pot goes off, low, high, warm and end up turning it all the way to the right thinking I'm putting it on high. so had some mac and cheese for dinner I'll finish cooking the roast tomorrow

I do stuff like that ALL the time lol.

 

Eh. Mix of good and bad. Brother brought his old laptop down and gave it to me. Got it all set up and HO.LY. CRAP!! Big difference from an EEE from 2007. Has a 10-key pad so that's a massive improvement, and the sound quality and volume is so loud that I can't turn it up past 70% and I'm so deaf the National Guards wouldn't let me in after 9/11 even as a cook. Can't wait til it's all set up and customized and I can start catching HITs that deal with video and audio.

Bad because I got the valves all cleaned up on the head I'm rebuilding and the very last one was A) so pitted on the seat it's not usable and B) very slightly bent so doubly not usable. New set won't be here til the 19th, so yet another week without a car.
