TM's alert for requesters take a whole page request for each one. You would be better off using overwatch instead imho... I mean overwatch won't accept them but it also runs on worker and uses just a single page requester for all of your include list at once.

HC is a simple a fast/optimized panda script while PC has lots of extra features but stuff like the fact that the panda buttons don't show up instantly keeps me from using it.

If you haven't checked it out the mobile support for the website is actually really could without needing to use an app at all. It functions nearly identically to the desktop. The mobile site even has support for the live updates ect...and I'm not sure if Tapatalk has that.

 

HC will open a HIT for you on captcha while PC doesn't
PC has more "stuff" like queue watch and groups, HC is more simple
HC has a supporting script for buttons on forum exports to add a watcher.
Both function the same as far as searches go, they both use a cycler. It basically comes down to which is more useful for you based on features.

 

The delay on the buttons for PC showing up is real though... It might even be a full second.

 

If you are new to the forum or if you have been away from the forum for an extended period of time the terminology in the forum evolves and we all seem to shift slightly in our shorthand or mentioning of different things. So I can agree that sometimes when we mention things to each other to a newbie or someone that has been away for a while can have a steap learning curve that we all don't really see...

 

@Randomacts yeah I know but really don't care about page requests while sleeping.... I intend to get on the overwatch but just haven't taken the time to look at it yet

 

TTS (Text to Speech) alerts a wonderful thing imho

Honestly when i am in bed TM's Nuke Bomb Alert Bell is about all that gets me up at full volume

 

It did one night last week but not since then, I will abandon it all together soon but it works for that simple few req alerts

For anyone's TM crashing did you make sure your amount per page was set to 20? iirc TM never played well with 50/100 and would inevitably crash. 20 was the default when it was created and is built around that amount of HITs per page.

 

Haha yea I think we might need to include an umbrella in that welcome PM, I think a newbie would like to have one in case of a light "dicksfromabove" drizzle...

 

I didn't mean to insult anyone. Mturk is just weird. For some reason I am worried about how other people perceive it. Shrug.
