    Rental companies don't operate like that anymore, now they treat it like you own the damn thing unless something just breaks. Like if the AC goes out they'll fix that, gas leak etc. But say you turned in the shower and hit the knob and it broke off, they charge you to fix that.

    Depends Costco has a 3 pack that is like 20 but those are the high end heavy duty ones, I personally don't like them they block to much air.

    Sounds a bit high but I've been dealing with my AC for years so I could be biased. I can get a box of 3 filters for like $10-12 here.

    Housing is surprisingly affordable here. I've got a nice lot and a 3 bedroom bi level not huge or anything about 1200 square feet and my mortgage (excluding insurance and taxes) is about $650 a month.

    That is on top of $1750 rent in a run down neighborhood. What the hell is happening to Austin?? We definitely don't pay more than $20 for a pack of four.

    fucking scam, wow. id ask if they are going to give you a pro-rated rent per month since you are doing a service they are supposed to provide and bringing items they are supposed to change AND since you are doing the labor also, what is the effective rate per hour that they are going to deduct
