We're trying to pay attention to everything because The Husband is having heart palpitations. Trying to track what we eat to make sure it's not GERD related or something weight related. We're both young (he's 31, I'm 25) so now is the right time to start focusing on health. Yep, nutrition has become almost a trade secret. And good luck finding a nutritionist to do it for you that doesn't charge a fortune. It's hard to find premade spreadsheets that include all of the important things like sodium, processed sugar, etc but that's not gonna stop me from looking. I know you're trying to stay away from apps but MyFitnessPal has a good reputation for helping you streamline pretty much everything. I really want to find all my old notes and stuff for you because it's got a lot of good info on daily sodium intake and all that good stuff for different age ranges etc. The book for the class is full of great stuff, just really dense and time consuming to delve into, but I could for sure hook you up with a PDF of that.

 

That's wild. Kinda cool, MTurk has evolved past the point of average users needing to even know that kinda info.

I would love the PDF for that book if you have it and it's not a pain to get. I might cave and use the MyFitnessPal if I have to. Health has just become such a profitable industry and it's a shame to see it like that. We can't afford to take him to the Doctor out the gate so we're looking at all the option of a healthy lifestyle first. It's the same stuff a doctor would tell him to do before doing much else at this point. He gets the palpitations only in the evening and has no other symptoms with it. We're cutting out caffeine from coffee, cut back salt, no spicy, no raw onions. Drinking more water, exercising more, taking vitamins, no alcohol, supplementing magnesium. Hoping that we'll strike what ever is causing them.
