Does anyone use anything to "organize" their email inbox? I just figured out the filters I had set up are basically trashing half my emails & I have no clue why this happened but instead of overwriting a filter when I edited it gmail just kept saving them as "new" filters

Go back to one big giant inbox if you need to fix it.

I have main/promotions/social. And anything that doesn't fit, I override to ensure all futures emails are sent to a different box.

GSuite gmail doesn't do the main/promos/etc so I had to make my own

It has not ended well

Basically have to create "Labels" and then use "Filters & Blocked Addresses" to replicate, the filter applies a label (or trashes or auto-fwds or w/e). Just curious if there's software that just does this better. Gmail usually pretty good NOT putting important emails into promos (ie you can get your user credentials email from a company but it'll promo all their spam garbo) but filters not replicating that well.. at all
