I spoke with the mortgage lender at the bank I work at a couple months ago because I was looking at using my part-time job income and mturk to qualify for a loan. She told me that all I would need is 2 years of tax returns showing increasing self employment income and both years needed to be enough to qualify for the loan I was looking for. She also told me that it would be best if I was at least a sole proprietor registered with the state for both years. (In WA state if you make over $12k/year you must register for a business lic of some sort.

You will for sure need 2 years of returns with enough income to support the loan. If you recently quit a job then they won't look at that portion of your income since you no longer have it.

Our mortgage lender has over 30 years experience in lending so I believe everything she told me. She also said that sometimes smaller local banks are willing to take more of a chance on people with self-employment income for mortgages.

EDIT: Also don't mention crowdsourcing as you've already learned. State it as something like "transcription/data entry or consulting services". Those are things they understand.

 

Haha, I am behind. It is what works best for me though. It is screwing up my personal scripts, and driving me nuts.

 

I know the recommendation is to use mturk suite, but I actually prefer TM...

 

This makes a ton more sense to me than a person claiming they can read 2000+ words per minute.
