Did you see my workout plan or nah? They take 1.5 - 2 hours and I usually do them in the morning, like 6-8 am. Sometimes in the evening if I wake up late or my gym partner sleeps in and doesn't wake me up.

Tuesdays and Fridays are leg days and this is me getting back to my car:

Bought almost our full gym from them like 7 years ago and it sits in a completely unconditioned garage in the humid swamp ass generator of SC and it's all still in good condition (not perfect tbf, but absolutely nothing more than minor cosmetic dings/etc). Our budget was similar to yours (2x gym membership for a year was our base spend & it was a self x-mas gift lol)

At the time the prices were literally half of all Rogue products. No way could I justify buying Rogue equipment for basic things. A metal box is a metal box (to a certain extent obv not ignoring safety). Our rack is bolted into the concrete so it doesn't move, YMMV depending on how you intend to anchor things and how you treat your own equipment/workout. I don't like some of their products (lat attachment is super mediocre), but things that are complicated are worth splurging for. "Universal" pieces come from there (rack, attachments/stands/etc, hex bar [tbf actual barbell is not & that's a splurge item IMO])

Most of their products rotational sale in email for 20-30% off so the price difference was bigmungus lol. Counter shopping atm it doesn't seem like you always get such a great deal right off the bat as we did tbh. But most of the rack stuff still seems.. not really close and the Rogue prices are LA bougie not US steel a plate attachment at rogue is $45, you get 4 for $60 at titan lol. Like what do you want out of a 2" piece of pipe

My big disclaimer is I bought all my stuff almost a decade ago - for all I know they now build all their stuff from rusted out car parts and it's crap lolol.

For the most part sure. But if someone can find a discernible difference in a $400 hex bar and a $150 one your gym budget isn't likely to be $1,500. It's steel, it's solidly constructed, and it does what big pieces of metal are made to do without the odd brand name markup

Awesome! Thanks for the feed back. I am definitely going to shop around for my plate weights and bar, because I just feel like the weights them selves are SO OVER PRICED. I'll be putting everything in my cellar, so it will get anchored in the concrete there as well (plus bonus it stays about 60-65 in there year round). I may piece my gym together like some torture chamber Frankenstein.
