    That's what I've found frustrating, is I've started noticing the lag on TM. Even just with having PC, I see a difference in response time. But now I can rule the world of mturk by also harnessing OW. Playing with it now.

    TM uses the cookie-stored Items Per Page value for www.mturk by default, so setting to 100 means TM uses 100. Any watcher can have the items per page flag in it and it will change the IPP when the watcher triggers.

    Yep I know.. when I OCR'd your includelist screenshot I got plenty of duplicates because I didn't know what they were. :p

    Exactly. It also confers an advantage. Sure its up for debate, like not masturbating before the big game. I think we've all seen it though where everyone uses a PC for real work and then a virus kills them all but leaves the Macs untouched? Or people mock the weird dude who doesn't go out and tan and sits in front of his computer and then they all get skin cancer and die?

    So everyone's using panda crazy. Something really breaks and they're all out of commission until the author or someone fixes it (Remember when a really cool dude used to fix TM for people? I don't want to say his name because of the sadness but he posted within an hour and TM's author might take a day or more to integrate his patch) but if you have your own tool or know how you're snatching those hits.

    Macs have far bigger virus issues than updated versions of windows lol. A lot of it is because apple is super behind on updating shit and a lot of stuff honestly just isn't that secure because it needs to be user friendly compared to normal unix.

    But yeah if you can make your own scripts that will always be a great option.

    Quite right... something like that is WELL beyond my current skill level, but it's something I'd really like to tackle someday. The advantages are nearly limitless.

    Yep, seen it happen plenty of times in only 2 years. MTurk changed the "no HITs found" message and broke TM across the board. And yes, I remember all too well. One of my favorite quotes:
    "good surveys are good
    good batches are good"

    Most likely preceded with a 'meh'.

    Alright, time to bake some pizza.. everything in my queue has >12 hours left :p

    Do you not know that BSD which is what Macs run on is normal unix? Linus was too cheap to pay for a license on his student income.

    I've had a BSD machine running since before you were born I think and while I'm not normal my OS is! #getoffmylawnyoudamnkids
