I was wondering about this. It took me a while, but I just figured it was me. I'm usually pretty slow at everything.
My only gripe is the amount of work. The actual work isn't much different than the hit before this one.

What happens if people start quitting?

 

Wow. Yeah, I tried those HITs and they just weren't for me. I returned them (plus my group was NO help at all). I am horrible at critical thinking stuff, haha. I'd rather do closed-qual batch work ANY day of the week (plus it pays better, too), which is what I mainly do now. These forecasting HITs just don't seem worth it to me. Some people got pretty good bonuses, though. Kudos to them if they can handle those HITs, but they aren't for me. I'm just not that smart or patient, lol.

 

They make me wanna hit my head against my monitor over and over.

 

Agreed, haha. WAY too confusing for me. I like my *mostly* mindless batch work, lol.

How's those $5 beers?

 

I don't mind the work; the critical thinking seems to get easier after you do a few. But the instructions weren't really clear when you're supposed to stop for each session (they give you the entire thing and expect you to keep it in your queue for a week.)

 

It didn't seem to be about intelligence, just patience. It seemed pretty confusing at first, but they go over each problem multiple times. The downside is that breaking problems down into smaller pieces takes a lot of time (for me).

If you have better paying hits, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm just concerned they are going to pull the task after I sink a bunch of time into it. I'm also not sure where to stop for the day
