I had TB as a kid and had to get monthly injections. My dad called the nurses friendly vampires but I knew they were trying to kill me. I don't mind injections as much now but drawing blood gives me major anxiety. I have had too many experiences with them not finding a vein the first time and treating me like a damn pin cushion!
