    I use https://habitica.com

It's RPG themed. You level up your character as you do things. And it has the whole quest/bosses angle if you're into that. Mainly it kills your guy if you don't do the things on your daily list. It also has long term lists and habits you're working on. I've used it for a couple years and it works great for me. Web based with an app, so I have my list even when my power goes out or I'm away from home. But mainly I have the tab open constantly on one of my monitors and look at it for the next thing to do every time turk slows down.

Speaking of apps that help people adult - does anyone use a good grocery shopping list app? I've left my handwritten list at home the last 2 times I've shopped and I can't function like that. I searched the app store but they all look like a pain in the ass.

It's not specifically for shopping per se, but use google keep for my grocery list and a myriad of other notes.

I like Out of Milk, mainly cause it let's me and the SO have synced lists. It also has a built in pantry and barcode scanner to easily add to the list by scanning the empty container.

    1) What do your monthly expenses look like?
    2) Has turking significantly increased your quality of life?
    3) Secret money saving tips?

    1) Our expenses are pretty high- about 3500/mo.which inludes mortgage, insurance, utilities, student loans, etc. My husband is a firefighter and makes good money so we don't rely on my turk money, it is saved for extras. Last year I made about $10,000 turking and was able to give most of it to my mom to help her out after my dad passed away. I quit my job in retail about 6 years ago and finally wanted to work nut did want a real job and started turking in October 2015.
    2) Its helped me feel like I contribute financially to my family. I feel like I'm too old to get any type of great job that pays well and I do not have a college education. Turking has allowed us to take vacations whenever we want and I can be home when the husband isn't working- he works 24/48 schedule. I like that I can work when I want and much I want. I maybe only work 3 days/week for 6-8 hours.
    3) I only buy things that are on sale. If it's great sale I buy a lot.

On a side note- we just sold our house and bought our "dream house". Built in 1904, all original wood work and hard wood floors, 5 bedroom, 3 bath, full basement , 5000 sq ft. So excited. We do all our home improvement. We got the house for a really good price(foreclosure). So all my turking money will be going for renovations. My husband and I downsized 2 years ago thinking uor youngest would be going to college this year and we wouldn't need as much room. Well, she's staying at home for 2 more years and our other daughter and two grand kids moved in with us recently, so this house is perfect for our family right now.

This is interesting. Do you think it would be good for a preteen with ADHD or would she just get lost in the game somehow? Video games are one of our main motivators/rewards.

I downloaded that a long time ago. My brother and I liked that it used gamification. We're interested in the different ways that can be applied to our lives. I liked that you could complete tasks and earn your own rewards. The only problem is I'm a pretty big game snob........well a bit of an everything snob lol. If things aren't exactly how I need them, I don't really mess with them. It's one of the reasons I want to learn how to code, so I can make my own apps exactly how I want them to be. I know that novelty will appeal to a lot of people, but I know I'll end up forgetting about it lol. I may check it out again to see if it'll prove me wrong.
