It would probably be fantastic. There game is all based on doing the things on the list. There's no way to progress in the game without checking things off.

 

Im planning on going to japan but in like the next 5 months and ive done a ton of looking into for how to make it work without spending one million dollars.
We can totally talk and see if we can make it any more affordable for you

 

We should start a TH group or party. I've had that app for a long time and it works alright if you stick with it. I actually used it to break some bad habits originally, but kept using it to keep track of life.

 

Well spending 8 hours+ a day is one of the big reasons peoples earnings are the way they are so you really shouldnt feel bad. Even if its not working 8 hours being around all day and going ham on specific batches if they drop is enough to make a lot of money but that involves being around and ready to work on them if they do drop

 

A few questions for those who are willing to answer them:

1) What do your monthly expenses look like? Well until I get my pension, I have like 4500 left of my house to pay off. I also have like 300 in bills, 200 in food, and so much in entertainment. I live cheaply and in a slightly bad neighborhood so that is why I managed to almost pay off my house.
2) Has turking significantly increased your quality of life? Yea once I figured out how to do it.
3) Secret money saving tips? coupon, shopkick, swagbuck, checkpoints, and I have stopped eating out, and I make sure that the family doesn't turn on the a/c or heat unless it is cold.

I'd totally be in for that. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the game aspect anymore but it got me to actually use the lists as habit itself. I almost always have a quest going just for the larger negative impact when I miss things. I dropped from level 81 to 68 recently and that was enough for me to start working on some stuff I'd been postponing recently.

I've really wanted to do something like this but mTurk based for the forum. It was part of the reason I pulled the # HITs completed / earnings / bonuses stats from last month.

@Jesicu maybe you'd know more but is it all self-reported on Habitica? How does it "track" when you complete a task?

You self report. It's an honor system type of thing. Also, no one else can see what your tasks are or if you are doing them. When you are on a quest with your party, everyone takes damage from the boss if you don't do your Dallies, which is the category of stuff that you setup to be done on that particular day.
