I mean, you get what you pay for. A 'free inspection' is basically a way for the company to get first dibs on anything profitable for them, its not meant to be looking out for you in any meaningful way. Though on the plus side its unlikely you have termites / major wasp infestation / racoons living under the house since they'd probably want to sell you on that, lol.

FWIW $50-$100 on Amazon can get you a year's supply of all the day-to-day pest control you could handle.. I can't remember the last time I saw anything w/ more than 4 legs moving on my property
