05/18 - Thirsty Thursday!

Good morning all. Just woke up from a really awesome dream I was travelling with a group of people through the Rockies... and then I stepped on my phone and broke it in half. (I've literally broke this same model phone like 4 times at this point, lol). Thankfully it was just a dream! That's always a relief.

 

Yeah. He was pretty under rated as far as mainstream recognition went. I mean, check out him doing Michael Jackson or doing "Nothing Compares 2 U" or just really anything. How about U2 and Metallica at once?


Why can't God take a fucking Kanye or a Kardashian and leave the good guys alone?? :weep:

 

I had a friend who was choosing between seeing Hall and Oates and Soundgarden last night. I wonder what he chose! Better have chosen Soundgarden because damn if that's not a crazy story. At least Chris Cornell didn't die on stage like that other guy did recently...

I'm usually not affected much by celebrity deaths, but I think the music we listen to during the tough transition through adolescence sticks with most of us. I remember feeling oddly down about Scott Weiland (although that one was much less surprising), and I have that same feeling today.

I always do one at a time and just returned one because I was stuck on the same image for 0 minutes. So frustrating because when the server was working yesterday they were great I even stayed up really late hoping I'd have better luck in the middle of he night. But other then one brief run that didn't help either.

 

They go back and forth for me..sometimes they fly right through and other times they are really slow

 

These bridges are pretty easy, unfortunately I don't work for 30 cents an hour ....

I thought maybe if they were just going to be sluggish I could open something else in another tab and work on that while they where loading but they are down right getting stuck now.

 

Eh I don't wish one person over another would die, that's just bad juju. Even if Kanye is a talentless douche canoe with more money than brain cells. I never really understood the concept of getting upset over celebrity death. I mean yea it's sad but...

I was in high school when Kurt Cobain offed himself and we had this girl in my photography class that freaked out and she literally cried for nearly three weeks, every damn day. Finally the teacher, who was a pretty chill guy, got so fed up he told her in front of everyone that if she didn't grow up and quit crying about someone she didn't even know he was going to flunk her so she'd have a reason to cry. We were all stunned because he was the cool teacher that let us get away with anything. It was pretty funny lol.

 

I wasn't familiar with him or his music but I just listened to this and it was amazing and made me tear up. RIP

 

Ummm no offense to the dead but Hall and Oates is the correct answer nearly every time.
