A couple of days ago I did this HIT for BBA Lab. They had previously ran it with $8 base payment, but for the version I completed, the base payment was set to $1. The informed consent stated the task paid $8, but was sort of vague on this point. I reached out and had a back and forth conversation, but don't think they quite understood my question.
