I bought a cheap Dell t3500 Workstation for under 200 and the thing is perfect for turking. (Not much of a gamer currently, fortunately). Intel Xeon W3680 6 core, 24GB ram and a Nvidia Quadro 4000. Outdated, but for the price? Under $300 bucks I paid.

 

Those old refurbs are actually half decent for gaming if you replace the power supply and throw a GPU in them. Not that you care but I know that a lot of people have done that with those.

Yeah pretty much lol I guess that's what I get for trying to cheap out in the first place.

Yeah, but I always think "If I upgrade I can play so many more games on ultra!" then I do and still only play the same game I've been playing for 6 years. My biggest mistake was going for the 8320 in the first place. There's no room for improvement at all on am3+ boards.


The motherboard didn't happen to be an ASUS was it? I bought an ASUS board and had to RMA it within the first week because my computer kept freezing. I just ended up switching to MSI.

 

That's actually a good thing to know, I had no idea. Something to keep in mind. Especially for when my little brother wants to upgrade his computer for better gaming. Save me some money. Haha. Thanks for the info.

 

I am sitting here smelling my food cooking in the crock pot and it is killing me...smells so good but no where near ready lol

Yeah normally i just do the crock pot during the week when I am at work all day so I come home and dinner is basically ready and the house smells awesome but since I was feeling lazy today I figured I would throw something in this morning for later today.

Ok so I am up to $9.05 PE for the day which is more than I would normally get on a saturday and I am just not feeling survey's today....I know it is unlikely batches will drop today but I am going to leave OW running and pick and chose surveys lol
