05/21 - Surreal Sunday!

White guys like me have a recessive ginger gene, that causes red hair, freckles, and the lack of a soul. If I were to reproduce with a white woman who also has the recessive ginger gene, its possible we could parent a ginger. Asian women, in addition to being attractive, dont have the recessive ginger gene and therefore it would be safe for us to procreate.

Re podcast discussion: I'm deep into the true crime podcast world. My favorites are Accused, Breakdown, Casefile, Convicted, Crawlspace, Criminal, Finding Tammy Jo, In the Dark, Lore, Missing Maura Murray, Serial, Someone Knows Something, Stranglers, Sword & Scale, Thin Air Podcast, Undisclosed, Unexplained, Untold, Up & Vanished, & The Vanished.

In addition to other favorites like Radiolab, This American Life, Hidden Brain, 99% Invisible, Love & Radio, & S-Town.

 

It may have been mentioned but if you have any interest in history Dan Carlin's Hard Core History is excellent and covers everything while the History of Rome and 12 Byzantine Emperors podcasts are more niche but also good.

I forgot the Nightvale podcast it's like Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy but set in a small creepy town.

 

I've listened to a few of them & liked them. It's always on my list to get to when I have a chance.

 

I listened to the first season of Nightvale. It was.....ok. Just not my cup of tea but I can see why people liked it. I actually liked The Black Tapes & Tanis better.

Quick question, how come I see a little ness right next to the thread titles in the thread list?

 

I'm a huge true crime dork. I mostly read, but your list covers all of the podcasts I've at least heard of, if not listened to. One that I like that you didn't mention is True Crime Garage, just two dudes in their garage drinking beer and talking about cases. Last Podcast on the Left is great too - they cover more of the horror/creepy side of things but of course true crime is thrown into that.

 

So many vibrators.

 

True Crime Garage is on my list of podcasts to get to. I started with My Favorite Murder & hated it from the first second onward though so I'm a little dubious. But I'll get there eventually!
