    question about using dual monitors. I don't have a second monitor but I do happen to have three working laptops. and a medium sized flat screen tv that hasnt' been turned on in over a year.. but the tv is like ten feet away from where I 'work'. is there a way to use one of the other laptops instead of a second monitor? and what do I actually do with a second monitor, is it like my mouse cursor can flit off one screen and onto another?

    The mouse point is exactly what happens, if you computer supports more then one monitor then the second monitor is just another monitor/extended of the first one. The mouse will be able to go between both monitors. A second laptop will also work just make sure there connected to the same network.
